Unit U is a Tokyo-based research and design unit founded by Kanata Shimizu and Riku Yoshida. With backgrounds in furniture design, woodworking, and architecture, we work across disciplines and scales. Through this process, we construct narratives and give them form, developing new proposals for the future.
